NIFA records are available to the public in accordance with Article 6 of the New York State Public Officers law, known as the Freedom of Information Law (“FOIL”).
Once a FOIL request has been reviewed, a written response to the inquiry will be sent. If the FOIL request is granted the applicant will either receive the requested information or be instructed on where the records may be inspected as well as the photocopy cost, if any.
